Just got back from the Art Center College of Design end of semester show, extremely impressed and inspired. These kids do an amazing job setting up the space, really thinking about the information design and the viewer experience in the space. Much of the work is conceptual (imaginary products or environments). But the effort placed on communicating their ideas through photos, drawings, videos and print is impressive.
The school is well known for its automobile design department, but I really enjoyed the Environmental design (spatial, environments – not sustainable…) and Entertainment design (characters, animation, theatre) exhibits.
