First of all, I’m stoked that the New York Times indexes and semantically parses Global Voices posts within their Topics pages!! Recognizing the importance of local perspectives in this age of journalism. My most recent piece, found in a popular Israeli online forum, describes a puzzling incident which could have dire consequences for Tzipi Livni’s group, along with Google Israel. A very popular blog post was excluded from the Google-Israel indexing and did not come up in search results. People on the forum claim the blog was blocked because it directly insulted Tzipi Livni’s political achievements. The blog is currently unblocked, but the discussion goes on.
