This project explores possible ways to using inexpensive scrap solar cell pieces to capture solar enery. The advantage of using this method is its' low production price. Solar cells are usually expensive. Finding a simple and effective method for connective the broken/cheap parts means a substantial reduction in cost, which implies that more people have the opportunity to experiment with solar power.

I connected the broken cells using strips of conductive mesh along with a conductive pen. Finally, I coated the fragile pieces with silicon, creating a hard yet flexible protective skin, which can be sculpted into virtually any wanted shape.
